      How do I get CEUs for AGE-u-cate trainings?

      An overview of which online learning courses include CEUs and how to access.

      Through an alliance partnership with Continuing Education Institute of Illinois (CEII), National Council for Certified Activity Professionals and National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, AGE-u-cate offers professional CEUs for various training courses.  Here is a complete overview.  


      Please check www.ceupro.com for state specific approvals.  CEUs may be available for other professionals such as health care administrators and therapy disciplines. 

      (Please note - Dementia Live and Compassionate Touch program partners can also apply for their own CEUs through any provider.  You do not have to coordinate with AGE-u-cate's CEU alliance partner.  If you'd like to apply for your own CEUs, email info@ageucate.com and we can provide supporting documents that may be helpful for the CEU application process.)

      CEU Approval by Profession or Certification 

      Nursing profession*

      • 6-hour Dementia Live Coach training 
        • Upon completion of your coach training online course, you will be presented with a link to obtain a certificate for 6-hour nursing and/or social work CEU credits.  CEU credits are an additional $15, managed by and paid directly to CEII.
      • 6-hour Compassionate Touch Coach training 
        • Upon completion of your coach training online course, you will be presented with a link to obtain a certificate for 6-hour nursing and/or social work CEU credits.  CEU credits are an additional $15, managed by and paid directly to CEII.
      • 1-hour in-person Dementia Live experience 
      • 1-hour in-person Compassionate Touch Caregiver training  
      • REVEAL Aging 1-hour online learning 
        • 1 CEU credit is available for all of AGE-u-cate's 1-hour online learning courses.  To view the course catalogue and purchase a course that includes CEU credits, go here.
        • An upgrade option is available at check-out for all 1-hour online learning courses that are included as part of purchase of the Dementia Live, Compassionate Touch and Reading2Connect programs.

      Social Work profession* 

      • 6-hour Dementia Live Coach training

      • Ageless Grace Certified Educator Training
        • Upon completion of the Educator Training course, your certificate is acknowledged by NCCAP for 12 CEUs.

      Certified Dementia Practitioners 

      • Dementia Live Coach Training 
        • Certified Dementia Practitioners
          • 6 CE credits are available for AGE-u-cate's Dementia Live Coach Training course
      • Compassionate Touch Coach Training 
        • Certified Dementia Practitioners
          • 6 CE credits are available for AGE-u-cate's Compassionate Touch Coach Training course
      • REVEAL Aging 1-hour online learning 
        • Certified Dementia Practitioners
          • 1 CE credit is available for all of AGE-u-cate's 1-hour online learning courses.  To view the course catalogue and purchase a course that includes CDP recertification CE credits, go here. For this CE, you DO NOT need to purchase the CEU version.
